Early departure to the "Condor’s Cross" observation point, from where the great Andean bird may be spotted. Enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the Colca Canyon, the deepest canyon in the world. Return to Arequipa in the afternoon. Hotel. (B)
Transfer to the Arequipa airport for a 30-minute flight to Juliaca. On arrival, transfer to the hotel via the Sillustani Ruins, where you will explore the ancient cemetery of Sillustani to see cylindrical stone tombs built by pre-Incas who inhabited this region. Hotel. (B)

Full-day excursion to Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Stroll and bargain at the Pisac market. After lunch at a country-side restaurant, drive to Ollantaytambo to admire the magnificent Inca fortress. Overnight in the Sacred Valley. Hotel (B, L)
Early transfer to the station for a 3-hour train ride to the Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, guided tour of the citadel, an awe-inspiring site discovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911.
