This 12 night tour takes you to the fascinating city of Buenos Aires, the scenic town of Bariloche in the lake district, the spectacular Iguazu Falls and the sunny beaches of Rio de Janeiro.

Day 1 | Arrive in Buenos Aires
Transfer from the Buenos Aires airport to your hotel. This evening, enjoy a glamorous tango show in one of the most prestigious houses in Buenos Aires. Hotel. (D)

Day 2 | Buenos Aires
A 3-hour tour to introduce you to Argentina, its history, its contrasts, its contradictions and the characteristic psychology of the “porteños”, the inhabitants of Buenos Aires. See and visit important buildings and neighbourhoods. Afternoon at leisure.

This evening, enjoy a glamorous tango show in one of the most prestigious houses in Buenos Aires. Hotel (B,D)

Day 3 | Full day Estancia Tour
Today, visit an authentic estancia - Estancia San Antonio de Areco - where you can appreciate the gaucho dexterity in cattle and horse management. You will also try some of the exquisite regional food, especially the delicious "asado". There will be possibilities to saddle up your own Argentine horse for a ride. Hotel (B,L)

Day 4 | Buenos Aires to Bariloche
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Bariloche. On arrival in Bariloche, you are met by a guide who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Bariloche and its surroundings including the nearby Cerro Otto, Llao Llao area and a panoramic drive along the Nahuel Huapi Lake. Hotel. (B)

Day 5 | Full day Grand Circuit of Bariloche
Full day panoramic drive passing the Enchanted Valley, with its curious formations, Lake Traful and the little village of Traful. On the return drive, driving parallel of the Nahuel Huapi Lake we visit Villa La Angostura before returning to Bariloche. (B,L)

Day 6 | Full day Victoria Island and Arrayanes Woods
Begin with a 30-minute sail to Isla Victoria, where you can disembark for a walk through a conifer forest or ascend to a lookout point atop Cerro Bella Vista. The second stop is Península Quetrihué and the Arrayanes Forest, famous for its concentration of the unusual terra cotta-colored arrayán tree. Hotel (B,L)

Day 7 | Bariloche to Iguazu
Transfer to the Bariloche airport for the flights to Buenos Aires and Iguazu. On arrival in Iguazu, you are met and transferred to the hotel on the Brazilian side of the falls. You will require a VISA to enter Brazil. If time permits, a stop may be made at the Argentina side of the falls prior to crossing the border. Hotel (B)

Day 8 | Iguassu Falls
Morning Macuco Safari navigation in the lower Iguazu river aboard zodiac boats. Get up close to the Three Musketeers and Devil´s Throat falls while navigating some rapids. The raft excursion is combined with a short hike to the Macuco Fall. In the afternoon visit the Bird Park. Located on 12 acres of native subtropical forest, you will have an opportunity to enter huge forest aviaries to study and photograph birds in their natural habitat without the restrictions of netting and cages. Day 9 | Iguassu - Rio de Janeiro
Transfer to the Iguassu airport where you will board the flight to Rio de Janiero. On arrival in Rio de Janeiro, you are met by an English speaking guide for the transfer to your hotel. Hotel. (B)

Day 10 | Full day Rio de Janeiro
This morning visit Corcovado Mountain for a breathtaking view of the city. Return via the Tijuca Rainforest and the outlying beaches of Rio. Return to the hotel. Mid-afternoon departure for a tour to Sugar Loaf Mountain. Ascend the mountain by cable car for a panoramic view of the city and bay. Hotel (B)

Day 11 | Full day Petropolis
Full day excursion to Petrópolis, where you find the summer residence of the last emperor. Located in the mountains, the site is now a well-kept museum with original furniture, paintings, and the crown-jewels. Also visit to the historic cathedral and the “Imperial Museum” , the house of Santos Dumont (considered by the Brazilians to be the “father of aviation”) and the beautiful orchid gardens (depending on the season). Day 12 | Full day Tropical Islands
Morning departure from Rio. At Itacuruçá, board a schooner that will take you on a cruise of the tropical islands in the bay. A stop is made at an uninhabited island for swimming and beachcombing. Continue to a beautiful island for a delicious buffet lunch. The cruise back during sunset completes a superb exotic adventure. Hotel (B,L)

Day 13 | Depart Rio de Janeiro
At leisure until the time you transfer to the airport for your departing flight. (B)
